It was recommended by a friend. Not sure if this is fitting..........for a Grade 5/6 class unless.... first... read.

The story begins with ten-year-old Mia Tang, who immigrated to the United States from China with her parents. They find work managing the Calivista Motel in Anaheim, California. The motel is owned by Mr. Yao, a harsh and exploitative boss who underpays them and sets unrealistic expectations.

These chapters set the stage for understanding Leslie Jones' journey from her roots to finding her place in the world of comedy.
I'm listening to her audio book... I don't think she is reading by script it seems quite off script but whatever still good!

She can finally be herself which is not being what other people want her to be. Britney has moved on from being a star....it was a wonderful READ. WOW.
