i read migrations a few years ago and didn’t love it. people are loving Wild Dark Shore so i’m giving this a shot and i’m not loving it either. i love the concepts but i don’t like the execution

OH this was not ANYTHING i expected it to be

i was in 4th grade when i first read and loved this book.

i am now 28 and the only thing this book has made me want to do is cry. it is so so beautiful but it’s so sad. classism, that one doesn’t understand at such a young age, to racism, to the state of the government. this book is brilliant and devastatingly so

there’s something to say about our society when i get 1855 natalie confused with present day natalie

this is such an interesting take on post partum depression, religious trauma, and gender studies. i love this

it took me too long to realize that Harley Bright exists and Mr Finch exists in this world. and all the bright places is my FAVORITE book of all time

can jennifer niven write something happy please. why am i already sad
