I always steer clear of King’s books because they’re always needlessly grotesque or have these random perverted excerpts. Luckily King appears to have reeled back on this and it feels more digestible.
Also it’s very funny to me that you can absolutely tell King had already been on Twitter for a while when he wrote this book LOL

This is super fun so far and I love the writing style

Cute book so far, probably one of the better danmeis I’ve read. Just wish we knew a little more about Hongjun’s character

I think Cassius is doing this solely to repay Darrow in that he's pretending to be serving the Sovereign still so Darrow can win
