If you want to get big mad about anti fat bias in the medical system (and beyond but wow this particular info is upsetting) …listen to this! Wow. And she uses a ton of recent studies and acknowledges important issues with various research. Incredibly well researched

So his brother and Kate said he should buy the Nazi costume when he narrowed it down to two costumes for a party William had with an Africa theme where people wore Native or Colonial costumes. So the whole thing is cringetastic and his part is blech

Wow. I will do my diligence and read legitimate criticisms of this book but wow. I am learning so much. Despite quite a bit of Holocaust education and independent reading, I didn’t know the Nazis were downright scholarly about studying the American system, historical and then-present, to understand how to be perceived as good and free in the world while dehumanizing and harming a group of people.

This one is pretty self-helpy, more than Becoming, but I still like it.

I don’t remember before Hot 97 was all hip hop alll the time but it wasn’t until 1993! It was a significant change and part of the history of hip hop.
