Was really well written. The setting and language were a bit hard for me to get into at first, I had to keep reminding myself this was a historical romance/novel-set in Scotland. I got sucked in and couldn't put it down though,even though some of the passages kinda turned my stomach. Maybe that's what fascinated me so much. I find myself thinking about the subjects it brought up long after I finished reading!

I had to stop reading this, it is nothing but teen sci-fi and bloodshed. Didn't even seem to get better. This premise, written on an adult level might have some draw. There's no real character development, so no emotional connection.

really fun, makes me want to visit Savannah to experience the culture immersion
