Finished book 1 and loved it. The series is so much fun. The dynamics are giving me Gossip Girl vibes, but in a fun way and the finale was excitingly dramatic.

I love both Nadine and Lucas and how their relationship develops here. And I hope they’ll find their Happy End eventually until then, please someone give Lucas a hug! The boy needs it 💜

Okay, it’s way too early to review this, but I’m loving it! 😍 I feel so entertained by the characters, the gorgeous descriptions and what’s happening.

Book 1 done: don't like the main character particularly well and all the love interests are not just problematic but uninspired, but it was nice enough to read. While very (!) predictable, scenes were written well-enough to keep one going.

So spannend bisher. Ich liebe es, wie jetzt alle Figuren miteinander verknüpft sind. Das ganze Setting ist so kreativ, aber es sind die Figuren, die ich schon alle ins Herz geschlossen habe.

Already so much better than my previous book. I really felt like I arrived in Samoa!

Seriously? I do like a good sacrifice and a heavy burden- but this? Sorry, but my sympathies for Tamlin just dropped to abysmal levels. I guess that’s the opposite effect this revelation should have had on me, but oh well. Not sure, if I even want to continue after this. :/

Why? Why would you send her back to the most boring part of the story? I almost didn't read on in the beginning, so why send her back. Hopefully, this will be a very shortlived period.

Nach über 100 Seiten ist mir noch nicht ein einziger Charakter sympathisch,im Gegenteil. Erschreckender ist jedoch der Schreibstil, der meiner Meinung nach nicht an frühere Werke ran reicht und gerade im Dialog für Stirn runzeln sorgt, zumindest klingen alle Charaktere strunzdumm.
Leider sind von den ersten Seiten an die altbekannten Rollen verteilt und das ganze wirkt klischeehaft. Hoffentlich ändert sich das noch
