I feel like there was a book I was supposed to read before this book to understand the main character? And I’m not loving the writing style. But there’s vampires and maybe dragons and an academy and a tattooed mysterious potential love interest so I will no doubt keep reading

Love the banter so far

I didn’t need to have another book on the go right now, but this is an eARC, and I am so happy I did start it! Perfectly eerie so far.

I really want to like this book. I think I read the first 40 pages three separate times because my brain just wasn’t understanding. It is finally starting to get interesting, but I’m not sure it’s going to recover itself into enjoyable.
