Not a fan of the internal dialogue she’s using now. Too much back and forth in the main character’s brain that doesn’t further the story.

It also feels like I’m flipping past more recipe pages than there used to be.

Gah! I’ve really enjoyed this series. The witty repartee, the adventures…
And I’ve always felt I learned new things, little tidbits of information packed within the amusing dialogue. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when Veronica refers to a giraffe’s HORNS. :sigh: Giraffes don’t have horns. Surely natural scientists would know the term ossicones.
