I love this book. I have always admired Martha Barnett because of A Way with Words… this book makes feel like she is in my living room having a conversation with me about languages and linguistics! If I had a teacher or mentor like her in my formative years I would have formally studied languages and linguistics! Each chapter she shows word connections and origins… very para shows a connection in plain sight!
