Linnea is on page 206 of 408 of Superman: The Golden Age, Vol. 2

New York World's Fair Comics 1940 - Controversial opinion, but Jack Burnley draws Superman so much better than Joe Shuster. I noticed the change of illustrator within just a few frames and my goodness what an improvement! Shame it's just for one issue.

This audiobook is waaay too theatrical for my taste. Bummer.

"You should know that his venom is poisonous"...isn't that a rather redundant phrasing?

It's a good (bad?) thing that I have work tomorrow, or I would've kept reading til the sun rose again. I love this book! It's urban fantasy, post-apocalypse and punk all rolled into one.

Linnea is 50% done with Circe

What's the actual plot? What is the momentum that is supposed to carry stuff forward? So far it's just a collection of scenes from Circe's life on an island. No common thread, no goal in sight.

Kyber is one seriously disgusting man. He keeps touching Banzai, which she has never actually consented to. Grow a backbone lady and slap his smug ass face!

Ship has been damaged, no one has been injured but Holden "felt a pang for his coffeemaker". 1) That line is just plain stupid, and not funny at all. 2) It somewhat depresses me that in a future society we still have that godawful, stinking beverage around.
