I am enjoying this one so much more than the first and I think it’s just because Cash and Baker aren’t spending the whole time whining.

“Eight Bites” is immaculate storytelling. Would love to read that one with a creative writing group.

I enjoyed the first few stories, but my god is that Law and Order one awful.

This book feels a little bit like hearing the stories from your friend who makes all the worst decisions… but as someone who was that friend I am addicted.

I think that beachy reads selected by my book club might be my reading life enemy. It also might be better for me to read these books as physical books instead of audio. TBD. Hope this is better than my last beachy book club read, though I am not currently optimistic😫💔
