This production has a 60-piece orchestra and received official endorsement from the Orwell estate !! I reached a flow state while listening to this book. I live for Katie Leung's snippets and Andrew Scott's O'Brien is like.. scary good.

5 minutes in and floored at the production level of this audiobook!! Andrew Garfield, Cynthia Erivo, and Tom Hardy??? Amazing cast and sound effects!! The voice panning between left and right makes this sooo immersive and perfect for my work commute! Why does this have to be an audible release 😭

I’m still coming to terms with the main characters being normie non-magical people in a universe with magic. Like, as if they are background NPCs and the main plot line POV is happening elsewhere. I still like it and will see it through!

Reading a hoboken girl’s fantasy debut! FMC is just like Katniss, but fighting against religious persecution with more teen angst. Idk if I can keep reading this atm because the fictional political conflict mirrors real life and I’m trying to read to escape
