I’m still coming to terms with the main characters being normie non-magical people in a universe with magic. Like, as if they are background NPCs and the main plot line POV is happening elsewhere. I still like it and will see it through!

Reading a hoboken girl’s fantasy debut! FMC is just like Katniss, but fighting against religious persecution with more teen angst. Idk if I can keep reading this atm because the fictional political conflict mirrors real life and I’m trying to read to escape
