I have a theory- a deep suspicion at least. I really want to flip ahead and see if I am right but I also don't want to do that (how would I even find proof?). For now, I'm just going to read as if I am correct. Also, I didn't realize this is adult fantasy- I assumed it was YA. I was very wrong. I'm not mad though, this is clearly a series I shouldn't have been sleeping on.

I shouldn't have started this book. I needed a break from Queenie's drama, but I should have known I wasn't interested enough in this new world of Sanderson's to be engaged. It's reading rather quickly, though, and has taken a strange turn, so maybe it'll end up being more enlightening than Skyward.

This book is way more depressing and uncomfortable than I thought it would be. I'm really hoping for some major breakthrough because I'm finding it really difficult to read and enjoy without some sort of revelation for Queenie.

I am really struggling to finish this one. I was liking it okay (really love Laylee and her magic), but steadily it's been losing my interest and I'm annoyed by what's happened and how Alice and Oliver act. I've been reading a page or two at a time and then have to put it down. I don't know. Thinking about dnf'ing it...

A quick reread before my preorder of the sequel arrives on Monday!!

I am still struggling so much with this book. There are so many interesting concepts, but it still feels like a fishbowl: I'm stuck on the outside trying to figure out what the heck is going on.

Finally! Things have happened and have finally gotten interesting. This is more of the Garth Nix I know and love.

I still feel the pressing need to continue with the Kate Daniels series, but I'm starting to feel a bit burnt out. Need a palate cleanser of something nonviolent, sweet and contemporary.

Just a quick reread to refresh myself on someone who played an important role in Magic Breaks before I move on to Magic Shifts.

I am finally going to finish this duology! My paperback copy of Muse of Nightmares has come and I am screaming!! Can't wait to dive back into this monstrously glorious world.

I don't think I'm smart enough for this novel. I don't know if I'll be finishing or not...

Okay... this is turning out to be some dense sci fi. I have no idea what's going on, but I'm holding out hope it'll be like Red Rising and all come together at some point.

Kinda boring so far, and the multiple pov's is really confusing me. At least I've finally figured out that it isn't jumping timelines too... I think.

Oh no... I'm starting to think this book might make me cry later on...

Gonna be honest here: I have pretty low expectations for this trilogy. However, I want to read it before I read the Six of Crows duology, which I have heard nothing but praise for, so thanks to my sister for letting me borrow her copies. You can borrow my Six of Crows duology when I give them back. ;)

Am I rereading this series right after I finished it? Yes... Yes I am. I feel like it will be exponentially better the second or third time around now that I have a grasp of the terminology and world. And, honestly, I can't get it out of my head anyway, so, here we go!

It's a bit more tolerable now that Clare and Cornelia are together, but I am still really struggling with this one.

Kinda tempted to dnf this one... Clare's POV is interesting but I really dislike Cornelia's and the overall writing is way too embellished. We'll go a bit longer and see.

"I don't know if you've noticed, but you're sort of an introvert." Are you kidding me? It couldn't be more clear that NEITHER of these kids are introverts!! I think I am slowly losing my mind.

So, my dislike for Dimple has just skyrocketed from slight dislike to "holy cow, I hope I never meet someone like you because you are so awful." I'm just flabbergasted that we're supposed to think everything she does is okay.

Oh my goodness, Maxi is so adorable! I hope she stays throughout the rest of the book.

After finishing The Gentleman's guide to Vice and Virtue I was really just craving another cute fluffy romance, so here we are :)

Everything has already been explained... I hope this still has a chance to get thrilling. Right now I'm a bit bored..

Aargh! I had forgotten about those blasted seeds. Rereading this is so much fun because I've forgotten what Winter wants, and I am just dreading the end! :)
