Ok, wow, so not sure about this book. It's extremely well written, and while the narrative flow is atypical, it's not difficult to follow the story. The problem I'm having is with the casual (and graphic) violence, particularly where it involves the childhood selves of the main characters.

The odd thing is, while it is an uncomfortable read at times, it's also fascinating and gripping. Onward!
