After an initial fast pace start, it got really slow for awhile. But I stuck with it and things have picked up again finally. I was getting ready to put it down for good.

If this book wasn't for Bookclub, I don't think I'd still be reading it. She writes without any emotion, and I have a very hard time feeling anything for her. The topics/events are uncomfortable, but its more like reading a fact sheet, than a personal account. I really could care less about the characters

Can't say I like the writing style (her sentence structure bugs me). But for content, she's jumps right into it, this will definitely be a book with some tough themes, and great fodder for book club discussion.

(Guessing page numbers since I'm listening via audiobook.) Thru part two now, just starting part 3. So many great questions posed of the "what if" type. Really enjoying this book and the audio reader is great.

As Ana says many times - Oh my. Closest thing I can relate this book to is a drug addiction - there's a feeling that I shouldn't be reading this, but I cannot put it down! Somehow this book has me as entranced as Grey entrances Ana.

Have to switch gears and finish this later, school takes priority.

Ugh, soooo difficult to wade through the run-on sentence structure, and odd way of explaining things... This is a tough one to gain any understanding.
