I have a lot to say abt this book but unfortunately it would make me look like a white reactionary so review will be later once i figure how to word things properly. All i gotta say rn is that this book was hugely disappointing.

so much has happened in the last 150? 200? something pages and this book is still SO boring im trying to speedread for a habitica challenge but its still hard to get through...
sucks that this book advertises itself as a critical look into colonialism and translation but this is a basic ass history lesson + thesis stuff ughhhh

Been reading a bunch lately bc I've been on long commutes recently and this book is pretty dry, has a lot of interesting concepts and I only just hit the part where the plot is getting more interesting? So far, this feels like talking to pretentious humanities majors lol. Rip about how theres a lot of history explanation but no critique.

Oh my god i havent had so much reading a book since i tore apart ready player one. im even thinking of buying the series just because i want to read it all over again, and the fact i prefer paperback over electronic (reason why its took me so long to read this series) i'm so ready and yet sad to see this series ending. but the short stories will satiate me so much im so ready for it!

this was so good, closest thing to lgbt manga i've read in a long time is bl which is actually what happens to nagata in this. really gave a lot feels back to high school and going back to my anxieties that are coming up as i become an adult

like the last chapter with nathan and marcus reminded me so much of dio and giorno bc if dio actually showed up to help giorno ever he would be this vague to him. but dio rlly would appreciate his sons powers more than anything honestly.
