I just read what is probably the shortest, short story ever, about 11 pages, but it was great and so very touching. It was called The Bench by Rebecca Stevenson unfortunately it is not listed on GoodReads to review. I gave it 4 stars, and as you probably know I am a toughie when it comes to rating books.

Finally Sam's story. It better be as awesome as he is... just saying. I have a huge soft spot for the resident hacker/computer nerd, who is a gentle, caring, ready to help. A very talented, but slightly socially stunted young man happier and more comfortable with his skills, screens and keyboards than with people (as are most computer geniuses).

Finding this very slow paced. Hopefully it'll speed up soon.

This is turning out to be a great book, sadly my kindle went flat, so I had to read on my phone for a bit, and this book is not on my phone, but I will get back to it soon.

Struggling with this. On hold for now... looking like a DNF. But I will try again first.

Struggling to enjoy / get into this book - asking myself "do I DNF, carry on a bit more or put aside to re-try later???"... a bit more reading and I will decide.

My Motto this year is... 5% with no great feeling of investment in the book - DNF it right away. Too many books to waste my time on sub-standard books. Let the reading begin.

Struggling to engage! Taking a break!

Struggling to get into and enjoy this book, which is sad, as I was so looking forward to reading - this is looking very much like a DNF, but I will persevere a bit longer before deciding whether to continue.

I got sidetracked, by another book, but am back to reading this now.

These are all full length books, not novellas as I was expecting, so it will take a while to get through this book. I will definitely read this in between other books.

40% through and not really feeling it. I had such high hopes and am finding the going pretty slow

I will give this until 50%... then decide if I will DNF it

Finally got started on this. Here's hoping for another Jodi Picoult brilliant book.

Struggling to relate to the characters in this anthology. Still on the 1st story and just not feeling it. I will plug on a little longer and if it doesn't pick up I will move onto the 2nd story.

I started this while my Kindle was on charge, as it is one of my TBR books and I am trying to go through the list.... sadly, unless it improves drastically, and quickly this will end up on my DNF pile. I will give it another couple of chapters and then see how I feel.
