The beginning didn't hook me really hard. I felt like it was sailing through time and I was getting confused. But now I'm rollin'. Now that stuff is starting to get closer to Troy, I'm starting to piece together things I know and it's getting more fun. The last bit I was just like, "I SWEAR she was married to Agamemnon??? Who is this Tantalus???" Man, shit's about to go down.

It's actually a little wack that this book doesn't have a legend in the back. You really need to have a decent amount of exposure to Hawaiian pidgin to make sense of everything. That being said, if you have any roots in Hilo, I can already feel how nourishing this story will be.
