Adi Breitman is starting The Bodyguard
Had no intention of reading two romances back to back but the book I originally was going for was taking forever to become available and this one was free

Adi Breitman is starting Circe
This book has been hyped up online but I’ve also heard the opposite from some med school peers. Excited to see how it goes!

Adi Breitman is starting Behind Five Willows
Did not pick this one up for any specific reason. It became available on my Libby as soon as I finished my previous read and it’s on the shorter side so maybe I can make up for my lagging pace during AI season.

Adi Breitman is starting Station Eleven
Just added a bunch of DNFs. I’m just so tired all the time from my AI that my mind can no longer focus on a book.

Currently listening to this one but honestly not that much. Might just be a very very long reading period for the days I’m more rested

But life update is that even though I’m not sleeping I’m starting to feel more confident in my AI

Adi Breitman is starting Better: A Surgeon's Notes on Performance
IDK why I picked this up. It was 2 am and I needed some background to suturing practice. This book was on my list bc of Dr Gawande’s other books. Maybe this will motivate me to be the AI of dreams.

I will definitely move book to fantasy after this

Taking a break from this. Will probably eventually DNF. I definitely have not read enough Sanderson books to understand the context of this story and so many connections are going over my head

Sooo currently this shall be a DNF. I love it but with my surgery AI I have legit no time to sit down and read a book. My library hold also ran out. I shall return to it in three months once I’m out of the surgery lifestyle and into electives

Adi Breitman is starting Complications: A Surgeon's Notes on an Imperfect Science
Ignore the fact that I haven’t finished my other book. I am struggling to get through it bc it’s an actual paper book and my eyes were struggling to read more info than necessary during STEP2 dedicated so I moved to another audiobook.

Hopefully this makes me feel slightly better about how stupid I am when I begin my surgery AI on Monday.

Randomly started this one. Maybe I’ll have another intellectual book run to strengthen the mind before STEP2

Adi Breitman is starting The Ruins of Gorlan (Ranger's Apprentice, #1)
I need a genre change.

I read several books from this series when I was younger and I don’t remember anything about them. I saw the author recently passed away and these books are relatively short so why not give them a go.

Not sure how much I’ll connect with a 15 y/o protagonist but we shall see.

Passed up this book a bunch of times because I didn’t realize it has a space theme. Glad I finally read the synopsis.

I’m actually over halfway done with it already because I did a bunch of meal prep this weekend which led to hours of audiobook time.

Adi Breitman is starting How to Hold Someone In Your Heart (Lost Souls, #2)
Giving this author another chance. I got a bit past halfway on the previous book then quit. It’s because I wasn’t into the style of multiple short stories but this one is a continuation of the same world focusing on one character. The beginning has been promising

Adi Breitman is starting A Crane Among Wolves
Saw this on TikTok. Watched a Kdrama earlier this year based on the same time period so my interest was piqued.
Trying to only read short standalones because I don’t want to hit STEP2 dedicated halfway through a series and have my hold expire or just be stuck in the middle of a good series because I’m not reading as often.

Thank you for the offer for the physical book Katie but I’m so hyped from ArtemisII that I must begin ASAP.
Don’t worry I’m still working on my other book. It got kinda boring so I’m taking a break.

Going to keep the medical-ish theme going for as long as possible so my reading list can look more intelligent for when I talk about reading in residency interviews lol. This book already seems better than the last one.

Adi Breitman is starting When Breath Becomes Air
Needed a serious book after the previous one and I’m inspired by Vishu’s latest read to pick up a medical-ish book. This one is popular among med students so it’s about time I got through it. I did watch a news segment about this guy on YouTube so I know I shall be crying at the end

Was looking for another easy, quick read before I start a new series. For some reason I accidentally thought this was book 1 and now I’m too far in to retrace my steps so I am reading half blind about the background context of this plot
