The good parts were extremely good (mostly those focused on Rank) and the bad parts were extremely bad (mostly those focused on Freud). Due to lots of repetition, this could easily have been an essay. Given that this was written over 50 years ago, I'm overlooking most of the crackpot psycho-sexual content, which on their own warrant a one-star review. Ultimately, the points about causa sui is powerful and worthwhile.
