Ummmmm why would you do that to me on like page 1!???

I know this is everyone‘s favorite book, but NOTHING has happened so far 😭

I can see that this is another book with very little actual plot but also no characters that are particularly likable, which is basically what I just read so that was a great choice 🙃 If anyone can recommend a fast-paced book with likable characters to read next, please do 😬

Omg the writing is so aggressively descriptive. Not sure I‘m loving this style

Why am I still reading this? The male MC is horrible. I‘m literally wishing Naomi will just move on with her life without this guy.

Okay, I barely get further and the male romantic lead - let me stress this again, I am supposed to be rooting for this guy - sends a waitress (female MC) in his employ to a table where he knows she‘ll be creeped on to make her stop working there, THEN he gets upset when the guy creeps on her and THEN he helps her find a button on a screen and doesn‘t step back to give her space after „to be contrary“ wtffffff

Wtf is this. There‘s a difference between rough but charming guy and plain asshole and this male lead definitely falls into the latter category. Oh, she seems like she wouldn‘t settle for a few nights in the sheets, so she‘s clearly uppity and needy, and I can‘t tolerate her working at my establishment, so I must be permanently rude to her!?? At this point, I‘m rooting for them not to get together wth.

How many times can one book break your heart?

A friend gave this to me. I suspected it’s not my kind of book, but I tried to go into it with an open mind. I’m on page 34, I’ve read the words “real men” about one gazillion times, and the author is currently talking about how his wife gave up scuba diving, because he couldn’t protect her while she does it and threatened to kill everyone on the boat if something happened to her. I want to gag.

I didn’t even expect to like this so much, but it’s really good!
