Okay, I'm so confused. Am I the only one confused by this book? The entire time I was reading this, I though Rafe was the assassin and Kaden was the prince! Now it's the other way around? I AM SO CONFUSED IT'S PISSING ME OFF.

Good so far, I guess. This is one of those books where it seems like the main character is the only character, as far as depth and personality. And even then I feel a lack of connection with West Grayer. Let's hope it gets better later on.

Charity is 23% done with Shadowfell (Shadowfell, #1)

So far this is the most boring book I have ever read, and the only reason I haven't tossed it aside is because I paid $8 for it. Sometimes I just wish I could coach writers on their books, pick it apart and tell them the pros and cons, because I just can't take this rubbish anymore. There are so many books out there that I'm constantly wondering how on earth they are getting published!!

Very despairing and dark with much sense of guilt and shame from the main character. I also have a lot of sympathy for the creature and the life he longs to have. I love this book.

Really liking this book. The complexity of the story and its strange characters and the mix of Gothic elements is what drives this story to potentially be one of my favorites.
