I’ve switched from audio to physically reading and I think I prefer audio. That said, some of Kris’s behaviors and language kind of leave a weird aftertaste.

Excuse me while I silently cry at midnight in the dark in my bed after reading half of this in one sitting.

Okay look I’ve just started it and I realize I’m chasing a mythology high after Song of Achilles and this is so different but I am also in love with it immediately.

Why I’ve put off reading this for so long I don’t know but here are a few feelings:
- I demand Madeline Miller write more of Odysseus and Diomedes together because my god the quips back and forth are hilarious!
- these two smol queer boys have been breaking my heart the WHOLE TIME
- I know this is going to be tragic, but look - CANT THEY JUST BE HAPPY?!

It has been a very long time since I’ve wanted to delay the ending of a book because I want it to go on forever. 😓 I can’t take all these BEAUTIFUL feeeelingssss

I NEED TO SLEEP BUT ALL I WANT TO DO IS READ THIS FOR FOREVER.
