Randomly found this book left by someone in a small outdoor library with a card from 1993 in the book (and it smells like it too). Honestly, one of my favourite reads in a long time. Slavenka truly knows how to make sociological, historical and anthropological thought real; with real humans, real events, real stories. Very happy this book found me on one of my random walks and super excited to see how it develops.
