My current audiobook pick!! Emira is so likeable and she’s the kind of character you root for and want to see succeed. Also, I love the narrator’s voice!! Really personable and enjoyable to listen to. Feels like I’m on call with one of my girlfriends 😊

It’s giving Taylor Jenkins Reid’s, “Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” but Margaret is nowhere near as interesting or as compelling of a storyteller as Evelyn.

Also, I’m starting to get bored of how most of Henry’s female MC’s are emotionally immature and just need to grow a backbone 🙂‍↕️

Finished reading this book again in October 2025. When I reflect on Michelle's words, I'm inspired with how hopeful she is even during the most challenging times. Note to future self: definitely a book to revisit year after year!

Listening as an audiobook!!

Writing isn’t as good as “She Who Fell Beneath the Sea” and the plot is too formulaic in comparison to her previous work. It’s decent but doesn’t have the same magic 😕
