So this may be a first for me but the tv series is better than the book. I feel like the tv series highlighted moves towards positive masculinity- consent discussion, safety and trust in building relationships, not telling guys to not date her, etc. Little disappointed in the book. I have other comments but don’t want to post spoilers for the book or tv series.

Expertly weaves in American History to pull us through generations of this families life.

Well written. I love the pace and voice of this book. Excited to read what happens next!
