Reading to my first grade class.

I'm reading this book to my class of first graders. So far, they are enjoying the story.

I'm about 1/3 through the story. So far, every female character has been rapidly killed off. (Though, to be fair, most of the male ones have been too. ) Fun light sci-fi adventure with a vintage vibe (so far).
