It’s taken me too long to pick up this book again. I really want to enjoy it. I mean Salem, witches, the ocean! But it’s just so slow going. Nothing is happening and I find myself skipping over parts because I KNOW I wont be missing anything. I was stuck at 50% for 2 months! Maybe I can finally finish this and move on?

Okay I’m actually getting a little freaked out. It’s been a while since a boodnhas actually made me feel any dread.

I’m so glad I took the chance on this book. It’s massive and certainly daunting compated to Murakami’s other works, but I can’t put it down. So glad this was my first!

This is so cute and is filling a hole in my spirit. I can't believe it took me so long to realize not everything I read has to be overly serious or intense. I can't wait to read more!

Starting many books and not finishing them seems to be my forte
