Either going to be the best book of the year or my biggest disappointment I fear

Hey everyone! I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately—life got busy and my reading took a back seat.

But I’m finally catching up, checking in, and ready to dive back into the book world. Excited to see what everyone’s been reading lately!

There was no way anyone could have dethroned Shallan and Kaladin as my absolute favorites, but storms, I think Adolin just did it.

Ugh this book is so long.

Reading about Adolin and Yanagawn playing cards should not be so annoying. I really want to flip to the cool stuff. As usual, I suspect the middle (up to 80%) will be arduously slow.

I'm about to draw an exasperationspren. This needs to stop. It's a brilliant world, it doesn't need more stuffed into it continuously.

I feel like these new spren could be an easter egg? New spren of more complex emotions being born for some reason?

I feel like too much is happening in this book, too many genres and arcs packed into one.
