Kat is starting Why We Meditate: The Science and Practice of Clarity and Compassion
I abandoned this book, which I borrowed from the library specifically to find nuggets to proliferate when teaching mindfulness.

Narwhal.

Reading this book, even when being read to through the audiobook format, it’s not only rich in physical and historic details, but is such a dance through a multifaceted space time continuum of life, it’s abundance so full that it has to be savoured scene by glacially accumulated scene.
So only 3 days left abd I’m still only up to the world of the Eskimo people and the narwhal.

No rush.

Jumps along, so different focused on materiality of experience. I’m open to how this unfurls

A wonderfully detailed and somewhat earnest read. Having written this one I look forward to further reflections.
