Even though Samantha says she looked for a out in the conversation SHE started rather quickly, CAN YOU BLAME HER? You've admitted to openly glaring at these girls in public. They can probably tell you don't like them.

There just continues to be this general animosity towards anything considered feminine or girlie in this story.

I don't know if that's the point. If the twist will be that this hatred towards her own sex will compell her to do something horrible, or if the author thinks this makes the character edgy and "not like other girls."

Ava is a lot like a toxic boyfriend and were finally going to talk about it. She's constantly belittling this school Sam worked really hard to get into, destroyed her property, tells her how to feel and how to cut her hair. She's always worried about upsetting her. Tip-toeing around subjects bc she's scared of her reaction. Lowering her gaze like a scolded child or frightened dog. Explaining her decisions
