Perry Lake > Recent Status Updates

In light of my publisher going under, I'm currently working on revamping (heh) my LEGEND OF DRACULA series. I'm adding about 40-50K words and arranging the stories in chronological order. I feel this will read better and less choppy. Now I need to find a good cover artist.

Just started and it's pulled me in from the start!

Well-written ZA story and enjoying it thus far. There's a very few misspellings. This is a different take on ZA, a much more personal story, not another shoot-em-in-the-head movie.

Finished the first two sections. On to the final one....

So far it's been a tale of Americana... and maybe a vampire in the background. But now we're starting to see more vampiric activity and it's nice to see the heroes truly scared.

Barlow finally makes an appearance, but not an impression. I like the book almost in spite of the vampire.

I like how King describes the town and the people, making them interesting and believable even when they are not likeable. But so far there's nothing scary.

I like Harry. And I like Boris too, so far. He didn't ask to be what he is.

Hey, I think the story is starting!

I am really enjoying this book. Hope to finish it tonight.

Has a nice poignant bit with the American girl.

I like it. It's a nice leisurely read--not for the ADD set.

Enjoying it. It's a nice travelogue across Europe as well as a mystery to be solved.

Getting off to a good start. Nice details and atmosphere.
