Tried reading this and I couldn't get to grips with it.

very good series if you liked Dragon Riders of Pern...not exactly the same but similar. Am on book 7 at the moment of a 9 book set, It's going well. Easy to read and follow

I can honestly say this has been one of the best series i have ever read. the story is fantastic and the attention to detail is phenomenal. I was genuinely sad to have finished the books. please read, you won't be disappointed.

good-ish. But it's either very tongue in cheek or just not quite got the right feel for the atmosphere. Supposed to be aeons away across many galaxies but they have the same systems in place that we do, ie shops (!) and cafes and shit like that. lol

beautifully written, I dont wanna put it down.

great book
