Also to note- I chose to read this book because I wanted to understand the trope of ‘the unreliable narrator’

The first 40% was very slow. A little intriguing at first then hit a huge lull.

Now though, that the timelines are starting to sync up it is soooo good. And I understand why there was a lull, Amy was trying to write things that way. It makes so much more sense to the story than I anticipated.

Good. I was looking for a book with a ‘White Lotus’ -esque theme, and so far it is delivering.

So far, fine. It started off really good but got wayyy too sexual way too quick. Now that I’m deeper into it that part is okay, I just wish there was emote of a progression in the beginning .
