Week 2 in r/AReadingofMonteCristo and it is *so hard to not jump ahead.* It’s already pulling me in! Surprisingly readable and I love doing the yearlong readalong with a whole group.

I’ve joined the A Year Of Ulysses subreddit to tackle this beast one chapter per week all year long. With a support group. 🤣🤣🤣 I figure this is probably the only way I’m ever going to read it. Immediate, magical immersion. I love the way this audiobook has drawn me in completely even in the first few chapters. It feels like a legend and a sound bath and I’m getting the ASMR tinglies from the narrator’s accent. ❤️❤️❤️
