Epistolary novels are my favorite. I am eating this up. I need them all IMMEDIATELY

The *constant* name-dropping of other fictional male characters is driving me insane and I have to dnf for that alone. It takes you completely out of the story, especially when it’s characters in current romantasies/romances. Pet peeve of mine, I guess.

The narrator really brings this to another level; I love how well she captures Rose’s indignation

This is… not good

Intrigued but the narrator’s voice is… weird and kind of grating

I don’t know how many times I’ve read this series and there are very few scenes that make me as enraged as Chaol blaming Aelin for everything that’s gone wrong in his life.

Like such a typical loser manchild to blame a woman for his own bigotry, fear, and shortcomings.

Natalie is soooo unlikeable and hateful and I love it

It’s that time again!

Tamlin’s such a little crybaby bitch, running straight back to Hybern like the dog he is. Forever bitter SJM doesn’t kill him
