rereading this one as a buddy read with my husband whose never read it! This is one of my top favorite books of all time so I'm very excited!

Im feeling lukewarm on this one but everyone says its TERRIFYING so maybe the second half will be better

Im really enjoying this but good lord its so long I feel like ill listen to 2+ hours and then barely get to move my bookmark in my physical copy lmao

As someone who used to be very ingrained in the kpop fandom, this book is DEEPLY disturbing mostly because its not as insane an idea as you'd hope it would be

I'm kinda enjoying that this is just straight up JoxDeanxSam fanfic like the author didn't even bother try changing it but its nice cause theres no need for world building or anything like that so i read 100 pages in like 45 min lmao plus I love Jo so im a big fan so far

this is so fascinating it's like saving private Ryan, Lord of the flies, and maybe the troop?? all got mixed together

I dont read a lot of war literature so I wasnt sure if even the horror/supernatural elements would be enough to make me enjoy this but WOW im already loving it from just these first few chapters!

I can't tell you the last time I woke up at 6am and immediately downloaded a preorder onto my Kindle so I could read it whenever I get a chance on release day - needless to say I'm very VERY excited for this one!!

This is such an easier read than I thought it was going to be - I really do forget I have an MA in literature and used to read Dostoevsky for fun lmao

Really loving this one so far!! I've been intimidated by it for ages so im glad im genuinely enjoying it now that ive finally gotten myself to start!

I got to the *crazy so Gorey oh my God disgusting horror* scene and it was so damn boring lmao I think i'm too desensitized to horror for this to be shocking or interesting but... I'm going to give it a little longer and either DNF/skim it if it doesn't get better

This started out great but very quickly became repetitive and annoying - I'm totally understanding all the reviews saying 150-200 pages needed to be cut out of this and make it a novella instead of a full length novel cause i'm so bored now I'm tempted to DNF but it has such potential I want to see it through

I keep kinda wanting to just reread yesteryear so I picked this up and its drf very addicting but also pretty repetitive so far - I'm hoping that now that everything is rolling it'll get a bit more interesting from here!

Hmm I was expecting a bit more from their ✨️first time✨️ but maybe i was just spoiled from LoE

this is a tough read content wise just cause of how much external and internal fatphobia this main character faces - I'm enjoying the convo though and where the plot seems to be heading but damn probs don't read this if you're self conscious of your weight/how you look

This book has made me realize we really have lost the art of a single POV romance - I'm SO glad we don't have Jack's POV, I'm so sick of having dual povs when they're simply not needed. This is much better

I definitely read this online as a kid but MAN its spooky - my heart was RACING at this last part

my kids and I loved this part - this quote is even more relevant nowadays!
