50 pages to go and I just want it to end. I’m too invested to give it up, but I’m forcing myself to continue at this point. 😕

Lisa Genova is genius. She takes us to tough places where no one wants to go, but we're glad we went. She tells 'real' stories of real problems and makes us want to learn more. Her characters feel like people you know - and may well be. If you know her from Still Alice (or not) I highly recommend More or Less Maddy and Every Note Played.

I was interested in the storyline, but it was just too slow of a burn for me. DNF

Liked it. Then wanted to like it. Then wanted to finish it. Couldn’t.

I can’t finish it. It gets a lot of good reviews and in fact is one of the best of Audible books for 2024. I last set it down about two weeks ago and just can’t bring myself to pick it up again.

Halfway through, I left it to pick up another book, intending to come back. It’s not bad story, I just have no motivation to go back to it and I think I’m gonna have peace out.
