Lynda is 50% done with Winning the Green New Deal: Why We Must, How We Can
Sad. Depressing because we’re headed for disaster and I still don’t see people believing in this deal that could help tremendously.

Lynda is reading The Big Rock Candy Mountain
I wanted to read this book originally published in 1943. It's not a happy story but it is a fascinating tale of one American family's experience during the early 20th century.

I liked this book. I didn't like the short choppy sentences in the beginning. Almost quit reading it because I was annoyed by the staccato structure. But I pushed on and it gradually changed. I became very interested in the story and the characters. Ended up thoroughly enjoying the book. I now understand why the dialogue was written that way in the beginning.

Loved Spine of the Continent. I don't love this one. In fact I am not going to finish it at this time. Maybe another day, maybe not.
