the actual writing style of this book is kind of annoying but i feel like the story will be interesting enough to stick with it

okay i decided it would be a bad idea to casually read a creepy book on weeknights after work when i’m trying to relax so this is a weekend daytime only read for me

also creepy book where one of the main character’s children is named Eliza makes it slightly more unsettling

oh my god i get the concept of divorce being so difficult and devastating and all consuming or whatever but i swear this main character’s only personality trait is that she got a divorce. literally the only thing i know about her. didn’t even know her name for like 6 chapters. really not a fan of women being completely defined by their (ex)husbands…

i don’t know why i keep reading romance it’s literally always the same story in a different setting… also i don’t really know why i put this book on hold w libby but i did and now i feel an obligation to read it

i’ve been wanting to read this book for months it better not disappoint
