This book is very…boring.
For sure feeling like a big step down from book 1.

This book could have been like 200 pages shorter.
Very repetitive and cringy at times with the banter between Tessa and Theon tbh. Gives her no choice in anything in her life and is super annoying when he tries to be caring cause it’s forced and gives, I own you and when you cringe away from me it makes me angry vibes . Eye roll.

I shouldn’t have expected this duology to get better after just not liking book 1. Book 2 is just uneven and the romance is so paint by the numbers.
They go from stand offish to insta love way too fast.
