James is on page 286 of 447 of Blamey: The story of Australia's greatest general, for readers of Grantlee Kieza, Peter FitzSimons and Roland Perry
I bit disappointed thus far. The book is riddled with incorrect dates, confusion between battalions, brigades and divisions. Confusion about military ranks (when does a Lieutenant Colonel command a company?). The outrages assertion that the Australian Army didn't train to fight at night, which was referenced from a Japanese account in Williams' 'Japan's Pacific War' is disappointing and is one of many incorrect facts

James is reading Die in Battle, Do not Despair: The Indians on Gallipoli, 1915 (War and Military Culture in South Asia, 1757-1947)
Quite a decent account on an aspect if the Gallipoli campaign that is not well known, I was particularly interested in the accounts regarding the 7th Mountain Artillery Brigade.
Unfortunately the publishers have let the book down somewhat with extremely poor editing and the arbitrary placement of all maps in amongst a chapter that had no need of them rather than having them at the start or placed throughout.
