Very well researched account of some of the major tunnel attempts under the Berlin Wall. The narratives involving the Kennedy administration and Cold War politics i could have done without, but I can see how readers interested in Cold War policy would appreciate those details. Fascinating for me personally, living one block away from the entrance to “Tunnel 29.”
