I love this book, but The Langoliers has the lamest characters. It's disappointing the Langoliers don't eat them all.

I don't know what to think about this. There are definitely a lot of naked dudes.

1. It feels less sci-fi than my first read...because I'm living in Michigan in a science fiction novel.
2. the pandemic in this isn't a gimmick, but it's really not what the whole thing is about...it's about art...and creation...and immortality..so...in a way it IS all about pandemic and Michigan and fragility...or something...

She's just so good. And short stories give her the go-ahead to be funky. Her fiction is as unbound as the Wyoming sky.

This book is amazing!

I like it. It's funny and dirty and disturbing, but it's dense.

I'm listening to the audiobook. It took a little while to get the character and place names set in my head, but now I'm loving it!

Terrible.
