Anya is 66% done with Daughter of Time (After Cilmeri, #0)

This is NOT a time travel ROMANCE.
Also I was hoping for a bit more every day life description, what food was eaten and behaviour of people not... we rode all this time from Castle A to Castle B with stops along the way. Also I found it a bit annoying at the language barrier was not really dressed too much. No way would High School level French would be enough (or the same kind) to communicate in 13 century.

all this pleasant writing but not much closer in solution to the mystery it seems, but we are halfway there.
Also I forgot who Peter is. For the life of me I cannot recall him in the last book. ah why not remind the reader. Oh well he serves his purpose in the storey, I doubt he will appear again.

Hmm not really a partnership here, in this book, it seems.
Holmes is away, we have seen him only a few times and so it seems it is Russell's own case... or rather, she took it and made it into a case. The "case" bit have not really started about 100 pages ago or so. I wondered when it will all begin to unravel.

Anya is reading Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1)

I'm seriously forcing myself to read this, hoping that it might get better. Need to find out what's the big deal is. Not a page turner that's for sure. Horrendous writing. Well maybe it is a bit too mean, but… its certainly very….simple and lacks a certain sensuality about it all.
