Got sidetracked by A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms but I’m determined to finish this one. It’s also really dense so it’s a lot to take in all at once, I need time to sit with what I read

Sooooo good

I’ve tried to read this book genuinely 4 or 5 times and I have never been able to read it in the time the library gives me so I caved and bought a copy. I can tell I’m gonna love it and reread it because I love books on internet culture/that examine social media use critically, especially as related to cult- or mob-like behaviors. I stg I’m gonna finish it this time if it’s the last thing I do

Lots of interesting things to say about race

I have so much about this book that I need to google when I’m finished. But I fatally spoiled Cloud Cuckoo Land for myself so I’m never googling midway through reading a book ever again

Reading about someone else’s work stress that’s way worse than mine is weirdly comforting

Fighting for my life not to temporarily DNF for traumatic content-related reasons but tbh it’s probably in the best interest of my mental health to shelve this one for a year

Calming even though one guy has already been beheaded

The book on emotional abuse is not good pre-sleep wind down content. Rereading this series that I’ll probably reread for the rest of my life. I want a leather bound set that’s gonna outlive me
