ducks newburyport summer continues

excited for this journey

girl cannot manage 50 pages in a day due to soooo sleepy and has to bring extra book back to chicago

EVERYONE SHUT UP

i swear i'm still working on this it is just so. fucking sad.

it is unpleasant to me when a narrator is unreliable because they are stupid

characters frequently studying in "the" low library, which i think no real student does

not the vibe i thought i was going to get. tempted to abandon but will try to persevere

i thought this would be less directly about olive, but so far "a little burst", "a different road" and "tulips" are all heavily olive POV. Feels almost less novel-in-stories and more novel-interrupted-by-other-stories...

also heavier than i expected!

i have been reading this since march it is gorgeous however the formatting (on libby at least) is brutal on my attention span

how did this end up on my tbr?? no memory of it. and i kind of regret picking it up already but i will persevere
