I cannot put this down!

Definitely making me think about how anonymous internet posts are basically the same psych need as people scrawling on walls...

More about urban planning than expected.

I am not particularly in to this book. I am a huge fan of Scandinavian crime novels and having traveled to South Africa, I thought it might be interesting to read a crime novel that takes place there. I just find the characters completely uninteresting and I don't at all care about who committed the crime. It's just kind of boring.

Okay, I skipped to the Paris parts which are - without doubt - the funniest part of any David Sedaris book. At least for me! Now I am delighted.

Can't decide how I feel about this book yet, except that DS had a very depressing life in the early 80s.

Alright, I have skimmed through the nature and have made it to the urban wanderers - the territory more familiar and more interesting as my propensity for nature walking seems to rear itself once about once per year whereas urban exploration is a daily treat.

Struggling to get through the section on Romantic poetry...Definitely critical part of this chronicle but not my cup of tea.

I just adore this man. He is such a great writer, passionate about his subject, and thoroughly interesting.

I feel like this book is more about the readers awe than actually about octopuses.

I know this book has great reviews, I just can't seem to get into it.

I can't decide if I care...I do like his writing style, but I am not wildly compelled by the story.
