Not an auspicious beginning. She’s renamed the Emergency Relief Committee (ERC) (part of the historical record) the “American Relief Center (ARC).”
Also the modern day story is only skim worthy.

Initial impressions: This guy is a tool. "I'm a librarian, I already know everything. Orientation week at my dream job totally burst my bubble and now I hate this job."

Who is this book written for? Because so far it's less fun stories about working as a librarian and more how-to become one. Snooze.

DNF couldn’t get into it

Some dubious claims and way too much pushing his own products.

Ugh. Interesting story premise but terrible writing. If she asked one more question I was going to scream.

Awful. Horrible. Set women’s lib back like 50 years.

Admittedly skimmed it. New studies have disproved some of the claims made regarding saturated fat, cholesterol, etc., so continue to read and research.

If I could give this book negative stars I would. Awful writing, horribly cliched writing. Just flat out bad.

Absolute drivel. Clearly geared to a young audience. Nothing bad happens to JK Rowling and if it does it’s glossed over quickly and everything is sunshine and happiness again. according to Shapiro, Rowling clearly poops rainbows and unicorns.
