My younger sister has be pestering me to read this book for several months now. Apparently, she thought I was taking too long to finish Joe Hill"s "NOS4A2". She is a huge John Grisham fan; she even paid full price at Barnes & Noble for this hardcover edition. I wait until I can buy books used or cheap However, we both prefer Grisham's sports novels to his legal ones.

This book really needed a decent editor. No sentence should ever have more than four commas. Every sentence of the six pages I have survived is constructed that way. Still, I am not ready to "DNF" (did not finish) the work of non-fiction.

So far, this one is quite a stay up late page turner! But be warned, it is not for the timid.

This has been on my TBR (to be read) stack for over 4 years. Apparently, I have a real problem buying too many $ 3.99 books at Ollie's.

I am a fan of Mark Levin. I agree with his political opinions (keep in mind that everyone has a right to posses political viewpoints even if others may bitterly disagree with them). Generally, I watch Mr. Levin's television program Sunday evenings during dinner.

Right from the beginning I was attacked by a wall of punctuation. Every sentence contains multiple commas. I wanted to post an example here but lack space.

I almost did not post this book here because I didn't want to stir up that big, nasty pond called political opinions. Since so few, if anyone, ever read my reviews, I decided to grow a pair and post it here.

August of 2020, I purchased two "paint by the number" paint sets from Hobby Lobby. For a number of reasons, I did not start either one until January 2021. Now, both have been completed, a third one began. Hopefully, this book will teach me how improve in my art.

Looks like this one might turn out to be a DNF. In the foreword, the author admitted that this novel's " defects as a work of art are considerable, but in order to correct them I should have to rewrite the book ...". I wish that Aldous Huxley had taken that effort.
